Digitalization of your halls, industrial facilities, monuments and installations: Laser scanning XXL
For large volume 3D laser scanning we use a Faro LS880 HE 40 mobile 3D phase difference laser scanner, which scans up to 120,000 measuring points per second, can scan up to 28 million points per scan and has a linearity error tolerance of less than ±3 mm per 20 m. Multiple 3D laser scans can be combined into one large object. Objects up to a distance of 40 m can be scanned (sphere diameter of the detection range: 80 m). The 10 mW laser is safe for the eye above a distance of 1 m, so it can be used in production halls or public buildings without stopping the operation or public traffic. Measurements can be made in the scanned point clouds. The point clouds can also be fed in and further processed with modern CAD programs. CAD models can be generated from the point clouds (reverse engineering), or the scanned reality can be compared with CAD models (e.g. large casting components or collision investigations in plant engineering). Using the scanned data of a property, all the data that is needed for the inventory can be seized or the complete sketch of the building can be provided from the point clouds. 3D laser scanning is particularly versatile due to its high speed and high measuring accuracy.
Der The LS 880 is especially suitable for the following areas:
- Architecture
- Surveying of real estate
- Plant engineering (surveying, collision investigation)
- Civil engineering (bridges, facades)
- Recording of large castings (nominal, actual comparison)
- Surveying of monuments and sculptures
- Road construction
- Landscape planning
- Tunnel construction
- Boat construction / crime scene documentation
